We stayed at the Beautiful REAL Intercontinental Hotel in Escazu, Costa Rica. Its an upscale Business Hotel where the Globe 2011 Costa Rica Conference was being held. This is a Business and Trade conference with over 70 speakers spanning 2 days. While everyone is working, I was fortunate to enjoy the pool and the hotel's facilities and the Multiplaza Mall across the street.
The centre piece floral arrangement was very impressive. I wondered how they can keep each individual orchid species on its branches.
Birds Conference - at Sunrise and Sunset, there were over 100 small parrots that populate the tall palm trees around the hotel and the traffic circle towards the Multiplaza Mall; these birds can also hang sideways off the corner of the building. Unfortunately, they were too fast and its hard to get a clear photo.
Marc Anthony and JLo - It so happens that Marc Anthony was having a concert in Costa Rica and they stayed at the same hotel. As there was a side entrance off the Spa, there was no sitings other than the score of media hanging around the front lobby. They stayed at the Presidential Suite. In the photo, right beside the I; its the open balcony with the jacuzzi on the deck.
The Pool and Jacuzzi for us common folk.. the weather was not scorching and I did enjoy splashing around in the pool and reading my magazines under the umbrella.
